Sustainability focus

The subject area is the explosion of community saunas and bathhouses in the US and how existing and new businesses can best navigate their operations based on customer needs and planetary limits.

Objective

This project explores the theoretical frameworks, green standards, and practice techniques used by leading sustainable designers, thinkers, and architects to help inspire new bathhouse platforms and designs based on consumer and planetary needs and expectations. Communities can design sustainable sweat bathing practices and spaces and learn how to disseminate and share knowledge via feedback loops to create and maintain globalization of sweat bathing practices.
